E122 indicates that the meat probe sensor in Cavity 1 has detected a temperature above the allowable limit. As a safety response, the oven stops all heating until the condition is resolved. This most commonly occurs when the probe is plugged into the receptacle but not inserted into food, exposing it directly to oven heat. Removing the probe from the receptacle typically clears the condition and allows heating to resume.

The error itself is a built-in safety response: the oven deliberately stops heating when the probe reads an out-of-range temperature, which protects both the probe and the appliance from heat damage. There is no immediate danger to the user when this code appears. However, you should avoid forcing the oven to run with a damaged or improperly connected probe, as persistent probe faults can stress the control board over time.
