You should not run a self-clean cycle while E206 is active, as the door latch is required to lock the oven door for safety during the high-temperature cleaning process. Normal baking and roasting functions may still operate depending on your model, but using the oven with a known latch fault carries risk, particularly if the latch is also involved in door alignment or sealing.
