Frigidaire Range Error Code E011

E011 on a Frigidaire range means the ESEC surface element control has detected a shorted keypad condition. This indicates that the touch input circuitry is registering a continuous or stuck signal from one or more zones on the glass touch panel. The control locks out normal operation to prevent unintended burner activation. The fault points to either the User Interface Board or the Glass Touch Panel as the source of the problem.

Operating the range while E011 is active is not recommended. A shorted keypad condition means the surface element control cannot reliably interpret touch inputs, which could result in unintended burner behavior. It is best to keep the range powered off until the fault is diagnosed and the defective component is replaced.

Repair costs depend on which component is at fault. A replacement User Interface Board typically costs in the range of $80 to $200 for the part alone, while a Glass Touch Panel can range from $60 to $180 depending on the specific model.
