A power reset may temporarily clear the displayed error code, but if the underlying problem with the fan motor, wiring, or PCB voltage is not corrected, the F-FAN error will return. Resetting is useful for confirming whether the fault is intermittent, but it is not a repair. The root cause must be diagnosed and corrected for the error to stay resolved.

Repair costs vary depending on the failed component. If only a wiring harness connector needs reseating or cleaning, the cost may be minimal beyond a service call fee, typically in the range of $75 to $150.
