The code also appears at the beginning and end of the diagnostic test mode, where it is a normal status indicator rather than a fault. Connecting the correct payment accessory or completing the diagnostic cycle will resolve the display.

LqC1 itself does not indicate a heating, electrical, or mechanical hazard within the dryer. However, on commercial units configured to require a payment accessory, the dryer may not allow a cycle to start until the accessory is connected and recognized. Address the missing accessory connection before expecting normal operation.

A power reset will not permanently clear LqC1 if the underlying cause is a missing or undetected accessory module. The only way to resolve it permanently is to connect and properly seat the required accessory, or to address any wiring or hardware faults preventing detection.

If the code remains after securing all connections, test with a different accessory module to rule out a faulty coin housing or card reader.
