LG Heat Pump Error Code E352

E352 indicates a low pressure sensor error caused by either a SHORT condition, where the sensor signal voltage has dropped below 0.4V, or an OPEN condition, where it has risen above 4.7V. The fault is detected during the compressor pre-operation phase and will prevent the compressor from starting. This is a protective feature that keeps the system from running with unreliable pressure data.

The system is designed to prevent compressor operation when E352 is active, so the unit will not run in its normal heating or cooling mode. You should not attempt to force the system to operate while this fault is present. Leaving the underlying wiring or sensor issue unresolved can allow the fault to persist or worsen.

A power reset may temporarily clear the E352 code, but it will return if the underlying fault in the sensor circuit has not been corrected. Because the fault is detected each time the compressor prepares to operate, the error will reappear as soon as the system attempts to start. A permanent repair of the wiring, sensor, or board is required to resolve the code.

Some causes of E352, such as a loose connector or visibly damaged wire, can be identified and addressed by a knowledgeable DIYer with basic tools. However, confirming sensor output voltage, identifying a short to ground within a wiring harness, or replacing a control board typically requires a qualified technician with appropriate diagnostic equipment. If the issue involves the refrigerant circuit itself, a certified HVAC technician is required by law.
