This typically means the sensor connector is loose, the sensor wiring is damaged, or the thermistor itself has failed.

Continuing to operate the unit while the T2 error is active is not recommended. The condenser temperature sensor is part of the system that prevents the compressor from running into unsafe temperature conditions. Without reliable sensor data, the unit cannot properly protect the compressor, and running it in this state risks additional component damage.

A power reset may temporarily clear the T2 error, but if the underlying fault, such as a failed sensor or damaged wire, is still present, the code will return once the unit restarts and the PCB reads the out-of-range voltage again.
