Norcold Refrigerator Error Code AC LO

AC LO on a Norcold N64X or N84X refrigerator means the power board has detected incoming AC voltage below 108 volts. This is a protective fault that prevents the unit from running on inadequate power. The issue is most often traced to the RV's AC power supply rather than to the refrigerator itself.

Resetting the refrigerator will not permanently clear the AC LO code if the underlying voltage problem has not been corrected. The power board will continue to detect low voltage and re-trigger the fault as long as the supply voltage remains below 108 Vac. Resolving the power supply issue is necessary before the code will clear and stay cleared.

Cost depends entirely on the root cause. If the issue is a campground power problem or a simple extension cord swap, costs may be minimal, typically in the range of $20 to $80 for a replacement cord. A failing transfer switch or power board replacement can range from $150 to $400 or more depending on parts and labor. A technician diagnosis is recommended if the cause is not immediately apparent.
