A simple power cycle or reset will not permanently clear this error if the underlying connector issue has not been addressed. The control board requires the coin drops header input to be physically closed and remain closed for at least one minute before it resumes coin acceptance. Fix the connector first, then the control will clear the condition on its own.

If the fix is simply reseating a disconnected connector, there is no parts cost and the repair can be done in minutes. If the connector housing, terminal pins, or wiring harness are damaged and need replacement, parts costs typically range from around 15 to 80 dollars depending on the specific components involved. Control board replacement, needed only in rare cases, would be a significantly higher expense, often ranging from 150 to 400 dollars or more for parts and labor.

Start by locating the coin drops header connector inside the dryer and confirming it is fully and securely plugged in. Press the connector firmly until the locking tab engages. The dryer's heating and mechanical functions are not directly affected by this error, but the machine will not accept coin inputs while the error is active.
