A simple reset will not permanently clear code 91 because the control board will re-detect the fault in the accent lighting circuit the next time it checks that zone. The underlying cause, either failed bulbs or a faulty power supply, must be corrected before the error will stay cleared. Resetting may temporarily dismiss the code on the display, but it will return.

If the fix is simply replacing both accent bulbs in the affected zone, parts costs are relatively low, typically in the range of a few dollars to around thirty dollars depending on the bulb type.
