It is a status signal confirming that the control board is receiving proper power and that no fault conditions or sensor anomalies have been detected in the system. This means the board's internal diagnostics have completed their checks and found all monitored circuits to be within acceptable operating parameters.

The steady LED functions as a normal-operation confirmation light rather than an alarm. Unlike blinking or cycling LED patterns, which typically indicate specific fault codes or component failures, the continuous solid light tells a technician that voltage is reaching the board correctly and that inputs from sensors (such as thermistors, bin level sensors, or water flow sensors) are reading within expected ranges. No corrective action is required when this indicator is present.

If a technician observes a steady LED but the unit is still not producing ice or is behaving abnormally, the issue is likely mechanical or hydraulic rather than electrical. Possible areas to investigate in that scenario include the water inlet valve, the ice-making mold, the harvest cycle components, or refrigerant charge. The control board itself, given the normal LED status, would not be the first suspect in such cases.
