The EA code indicates that the dryer's control system has logged too many reverse rotation sensor faults on the upper drum pocket sensor. It is not advisable to continue running the dryer while this fault is active. An unresolved reverse rotation problem can indicate a motor issue or drive failure that may worsen with continued use, potentially leading to overheating or further component damage. The dryer should be diagnosed and repaired before returning to regular service.

Repair costs vary depending on which component has failed.
