The fault can stem from the pressure hose, the sensor itself, or the wiring connecting them.

It is not recommended to continue running the appliance while F3E1 is active. Without a reliable water level reading, the machine cannot properly control fill cycles, which could lead to overfilling or running a cycle with incorrect water levels. Resolve the fault before resuming normal use.

Repair costs vary depending on the faulty component. If the pressure hose only needs to be reseated or cleared of a clog, the repair can cost very little or nothing beyond your time. Replacing the pressure sensor typically runs in the range of $15 to $60 for the part, while a new main control board can range from $100 to $300 or more, not including labor if a technician is hired.
