Heating time exceeded – heater does not switch
From Service Manual 682800, p.12:
1.Check heater for short to earth, replace heater or replace control.
2.Measure the heating element resistance across the terminals with the leads removed. Expected: 11 to 13 ohms.
3.Verify the thermal fuse and high-limit thermostat show continuity. An open safety in series with the element produces a no-heat fault even when the element tests good.
