The no-draining error means the dishwasher is unable to pump water out of the tub during or after a cycle. On the WFL 2060, this condition is flagged by the Wash indicator light flashing. The fault points to a blocked drain pump, a failed pump motor, a blocked water level sensor, or a faulty water level controller. The cycle will not complete normally until the underlying cause is resolved.

Running the dishwasher while a no-draining fault is active is not recommended. Water left standing in the tub can lead to odors, mold growth, and potential overflow if another cycle is started on top of undrained water. It is best to resolve the fault before running another cycle.

A reset may temporarily clear the fault indicator, but it will not fix the underlying problem. If the drain pump is blocked, mechanically failed, or if the water level sensor is faulty, the error will return as soon as the next drain cycle is attempted. A proper repair of the root cause is required for a lasting fix.

Start by disconnecting the drain pump connector and measuring resistance across the pump terminals; the reading should be between 80 and 94 ohms. If the resistance is out of range, replace the drain pump. If the pump tests correctly, inspect the impeller for debris blockages and check the water level sensor hose for kinks or cracks. Clearing any physical obstruction or replacing the faulty component should resolve the fault.

Repair costs vary depending on what is causing the problem. If only a debris blockage needs to be cleared, the cost may be minimal or limited to a service call fee, typically in the range of $75 to $150. Replacing a drain pump motor generally costs between $100 and $250 including parts and labor, while a faulty water level controller can push the total higher, often in the $150 to $300 range.
