When a Bosch dryer displays E:0000, the self-diagnostic system has completed its check of monitored circuits and components and found all parameters within acceptable operating limits. This code is not an error in the traditional sense, but rather a confirmation that the dryer's internal diagnostics are returning a clean status.

This code typically appears when a technician or user accesses the diagnostic or service mode on the dryer and the system reports back that no fault codes are stored, either currently or historically depending on the mode accessed. It can also appear briefly during a diagnostic cycle before any fault conditions are logged. The control board continuously monitors components such as the thermistor, heating element circuit, motor circuit, and door switch, and E:0000 simply indicates none of these monitored systems have triggered a fault threshold.

If E:0000 appears during normal operation outside of a diagnostic mode, it is generally not a cause for concern.
