Frigidaire Range Error Code F090
MDL mechanism failure
MDL mechanism failure: the oven control does not see the motor door lock running.
First step from the service manual
1
Disconnect power to the unit, wait 30 seconds, then reapply power. Try again to make the door lock or unlock (e.g., initiate a lockout or a clean cycle).
The complete diagnostic procedure includes additional test steps, resistance specifications, wiring diagram references, and component test points.

MDL mechanism failure: the oven control does
From Service Manual 966916, p.48:
1.Disconnect power to the unit, wait 30 seconds, then reapply power. Try again to make the door lock or unlock (e.g., initiate a lockout or a clean cycle).
2.Measure door lock assembly resistance across the PTC terminals. Expected: ~200 ohms cold, rising sharply once energized.
3.Inspect strike and latch alignment. A warped door or misaligned strike prevents the switch stack from closing in the correct sequence.
