The F25 code means the oven cannot establish communication between the User Interface board and the Relay board. These two boards must exchange data for the oven to function, and F25 is triggered when that link fails to initiate. The fault can stem from loose connectors, wiring problems, or a defective board. Normal oven operation is suspended until the issue is resolved.

You should not attempt to use the oven while the F25 error is active. Because the communication between the control boards cannot be established, the oven cannot properly execute or monitor cooking commands. Attempting to operate the oven in this state could result in uncontrolled heating or no heating at all. Power the range off and leave it off until the fault is diagnosed and corrected.

A reset by disconnecting the power supply for 30 seconds and then reapplying power can clear the F25 code if the communication failure was caused by a temporary voltage anomaly or software glitch. However, if the underlying cause is a physical wiring fault or a failed board, the code will return shortly after the reset. A reset is always worth trying first, but a recurring F25 code requires hands-on diagnosis of the wiring and control boards.

Some cases of F25 can be resolved without professional help. Start by disconnecting the range from power for 30 seconds and then restoring power, as a temporary glitch can sometimes cause this code. If you are comfortable working inside an appliance, you can also inspect the wiring connectors between the UI board and relay board for proper seating.
