This condition is only expected during a Self Clean cycle, so detecting it at any other time triggers the fault code.

You should not attempt to run a self-cleaning cycle while F14 is active, as the door latch circuit behavior is abnormal and the door lock function cannot be trusted. For standard baking or broiling, the immediate safety risk is lower, but the underlying fault should be diagnosed and repaired promptly.
