F5-E0 means the oven's control board detected an over-temperature condition in the lower oven cavity while a self-clean cycle was running. The control board monitors the lower cavity temperature sensor continuously during cleaning, and when the reported temperature exceeded the safety limit, the board stopped the cycle and stored this code. The issue can stem from a failed sensor, a wiring problem, or in some cases an actual overheating event.

Cutting power to the oven at the breaker for a few minutes may clear the stored code temporarily, but if the underlying fault remains, the error will return the next time a self-clean cycle is started or the fault condition is triggered again. A reset alone is not a fix and should not be relied on as a substitute for proper diagnosis.

Repair costs depend on which component has failed. Have the sensor resistance measured and connections inspected before resuming use.
