Start by disconnecting power to the dishwasher for 10 seconds, then reconnect and check whether the error clears. If the fault code is gone and the dishwasher operates normally, no further action is needed. If the error returns, the electronic controller must be replaced, as there is no repair for a failed EEPROM chip at the component level.

If the issue clears with a simple power reset, there is no cost involved. If the electronic control board must be replaced, parts typically range from $100 to $300 depending on the specific model, with professional labor adding $75 to $200 on top of that.
