The code points to a pressure trip at the outdoor unit as the primary cause. Common culprits include a dirty condenser coil, a failing condenser fan motor, or an incorrect refrigerant charge. The system shuts the compressor down early as a self-protection measure to prevent component damage.

You should not continue running the system in a short-cycling state. Repeated compressor starts and stops in rapid succession stress the motor windings and can cause liquid refrigerant to enter the compressor, leading to costly internal damage. Leave the system off until the underlying pressure trip condition is diagnosed and resolved.
