The fault will persist until the restriction is identified and corrected.

Resetting the furnace may temporarily clear the error code display, but the fault will return if the underlying airflow restriction has not been resolved. The system enters cutback mode because it actively detects insufficient airflow, so a reset without fixing the root cause will result in the same fault reappearing once the furnace runs again in cooling or continuous fan mode.
