The Constant Light indicator on an LG dryer signals an internal failure of the ignition control module. This module manages the ignition sequence in gas dryers, and when it fails internally, no external component repair will resolve the issue. The dryer should be reset first, and if the light persists, the ignition control module must be replaced.

Start by performing a full reset: unplug the dryer from the power outlet, wait a few minutes, and plug it back in. If the Constant Light condition persists after the reset, the ignition control module requires replacement. This is not a repair that can be performed by adjusting settings or cleaning components, as the fault is internal to the module itself.
