The bC2 code on an LG washer signals a switch error, also referred to as a Main Relay Error. It means the washer has detected that a button is stuck in the pressed position or has been continuously held for more than 30 seconds. The cause can be a physically jammed button, a deformed control panel, or an issue with how the sub printed board is mounted inside the panel.

It is best to avoid running the washer while the bC2 error is active. A stuck button or relay fault can cause the machine to behave unpredictably or not respond correctly to commands. Resolve the underlying cause before resuming normal use.

If the fix is as simple as freeing a stuck button or adjusting overtightened screws, there may be little to no parts cost involved.
