LG Washer Error Code dE4

The dE4 code means the Main Micom control board and the Display Micom control board are reporting conflicting door status signals at the same time. The main board detects the door as closed while the display board detects it as open, and this conflict lasts for at least 3 seconds. This code only appears in LQC Test Mode or remote control mode, not during normal operation. It most commonly points to a damaged or poorly connected wire in the display PCB harness.

The dE4 code only appears in LQC Test Mode or remote control mode, so it should not interfere with normal wash cycles used in a home setting. However, the underlying wiring fault that causes the error could potentially affect other functions over time. It is advisable to have the harness inspected and the issue resolved before relying on the machine for regular use.
