E7 on an LG washer indicates a Pressure Switch Assembly error. The washer detected a water level frequency signal outside the normal operating range of 15.00 kHz to 30.00 kHz for more than 5 seconds. In response, the machine runs the drain pump for 3 minutes and then shuts off to protect against overflow. The fault most often points to a problem with the pressure switch hose or the pressure switch component itself.

Start by turning the washer off completely, then locate the pressure switch hose and inspect it for kinks, clogs, or loose connections at the tub and switch ends. Reattach or straighten the hose if needed and clear any debris inside it. If the hose is in good condition, check the wiring connector at the pressure switch, and if the fault persists, the pressure switch itself likely needs to be replaced.

If the fix involves only reseating or clearing the pressure switch hose, the repair can be completed at no parts cost.
