These cycles require lower temperatures to protect sensitive fabrics, and the washer will stop operation when this limit is exceeded. The fault is most commonly caused by a failing wash thermistor that reports incorrect temperature data to the control board.

You should not continue using the washer on delicate or wool cycles while the H5 error is active, as overheated water can shrink or permanently damage temperature-sensitive fabrics. The machine may stop mid-cycle to protect both the laundry and itself. Address the underlying fault before resuming use of those cycle settings.
