The nC code indicates an NFC module error, meaning the washer has detected a problem in the communication path between the Display PCB Assembly and the NFC PCB Assembly. The fault can be a disconnected connector, a cut or open harness, or a failed NFC PCB Assembly. This code only appears during Load Test Mode, which is a technician diagnostic mode, and will not show up during a normal wash cycle.

Because the nC error only appears in Load Test Mode and not during normal operation, your washer may still complete regular wash cycles without displaying this fault. However, NFC-related smart features may not function correctly while this fault is present. It is advisable to have the issue diagnosed and repaired to ensure all systems are operating as intended.

A simple power reset will not permanently clear the nC error because it is tied to a hardware fault in the NFC module circuit. The code is only visible in Load Test Mode, so it will not reappear during normal use, but the underlying issue will remain until the disconnected connector is reseated, the damaged harness or NFC PCB Assembly is replaced, or the Display PCB Assembly is replaced if required.

However, if the harness is damaged or either PCB assembly has failed, the repair involves replacing internal electronic components, which is best handled by a qualified appliance technician.
