Temperature sensor error (washing)
Temperature sensor error (washing) - washing heater sensor in tub has an error (contact error or temperature sensor fault), connector connected incorrectly or disconnected, or water level sensor operates without water and temperature sensor engaged at bottom detects 100-150°C.

Temperature sensor error (washing) - washing
From Service Manual 555853, p.25:
1.Check the connections for the washing heater temperature sensor connector.
2.Disconnect the sensor and measure resistance at the sensor body. Expected: 10 kΩ to 12 kΩ at 77°F (25°C).
3.Check the sensor harness for opens and shorts. Back-probe the sensor pins at the control board connector; a reading outside 5 kΩ to 50 kΩ indicates a failed sensor.
