Cleaning solution may be present in the water system during this time, making any ice produced during the cycle unsafe for consumption. Wait until the cycle completes and the machine returns to normal ice production before using the ice.

If the unit is genuinely stuck in clean mode due to a component failure, repair costs typically depend on the specific faulty part.
