Allowing the unit to cool down fully and then restarting it can clear the C-3 code if the error was caused by a one-time event such as food burning or brief arcing. However, if the underlying cause is a faulty sensor, magnetron, or control board issue, the error will return. A reset is a diagnostic step, not a permanent fix on its own.
