The fault is a safety-related condition because unintended gas valve energization could allow gas flow outside of a controlled ignition sequence. The control board locks out the furnace when this code is detected specifically to prevent that scenario. You should not attempt to bypass the lockout or force the furnace to run while this code is active. Have the fault diagnosed and repaired before returning the furnace to normal operation.
