Error code 351 means the washer's Drain Pump Clearing algorithm ran and failed to empty the tub. After the automated drain attempts completed, the pressure sensor still detected water in the tub. The washer stops the cycle and displays this code to indicate that a drainage problem needs to be resolved before the machine can operate normally.

You should not continue running the washer until the error is resolved. Water remaining in the tub after a failed drain cycle can indicate a blockage or pump failure, and running additional cycles risks overflows or further damage to the pump motor. If laundry is trapped in a water-filled drum, resolve the drainage issue before attempting to remove items.

If the fix is simply cleaning the pump filter or clearing a hose blockage, there may be no parts cost at all, just the time to do the work. If the drain pump motor needs replacement, parts and labor costs typically range from around $150 to $350 depending on your location and the service provider. Replacing a faulty pressure sensor is generally a less expensive repair, often falling in the $75 to $200 range including labor.
