Lid Lock Malfunction

Lid Lock Malfunction - the washer makes 10 unsuccessful attempts to lock the lid or the lid is detected as open during the wash or spin phase where it must be closed and locked.

From Tech Sheet W11472631, p.43:

1.Check for interference with lid or lid lock mechanism. See Manual Load Test and Lid Switch Test.

2.Measure door lock assembly resistance across the PTC terminals. Expected: ~200 ohms cold, rising sharply once energized.

3.Inspect strike and latch alignment. A warped door or misaligned strike prevents the switch stack from closing in the correct sequence.
