F/23 indicates that the Motor Control Unit has detected a repeating internal failure, including under-voltage, over-voltage, or over-current conditions it cannot correct. The MCU manages power delivery to the drive motor, and when it cannot maintain stable operation, it stops the cycle and displays this code. If the error happens during high-speed spin, the door will remain locked for up to 3 minutes while the drum slows down.

You should not continue using the washer while F/23 is active. The MCU is reporting that it cannot reliably control the motor, which means spin and wash functions may not operate correctly. Running the machine in this condition risks further damage to the motor, control boards, or wiring.

Repair costs depend on the root cause. If the fix is simply reseating a wire harness, there may be no parts cost at all.
