Error code 33 on an Electrolux induction range signals a power supply defect within the Induction Housing Assembly on the left side cooking zones. This code indicates that the control system has detected an abnormal power condition affecting the left-side induction generator circuitry. The induction cooking system relies on a Filter Circuit Board to condition incoming power before it reaches the Generator Circuit Boards that drive the individual cooking zones. When the filter or generator circuitry fails to deliver or regulate power correctly, the system throws this fault to protect components from further damage.

The Filter Circuit Board acts as the first stage of power conditioning for the induction system, suppressing electrical noise and ensuring clean voltage reaches the downstream generator boards. A failure here, whether due to a failed component on the board, a loose connection, or a damaged trace, can starve the left-side generator of proper power and trigger code 33. Cable and connector integrity between the Filter Circuit Board and the Left Side Generator Circuit Board is equally critical, as a corroded, loose, or damaged harness connector can interrupt the power supply path and mimic a full board failure.

Diagnosis should begin with a thorough inspection of all cables and connections associated with the Filter Circuit Board, checking for signs of arcing, heat damage, corrosion, or loose terminals. If connections are intact and undamaged, the Filter Circuit Board itself should be replaced. If the fault persists after filter board replacement, the Left Side Generator Circuit Board is the next component in the diagnostic chain and should be replaced to resolve the error.
