Start by turning the oven to OFF and waiting at least 15 minutes before retrying the self-clean cycle. If the error persists, inspect the door lock for proper engagement, check the broil and bottom elements for continuity, and examine the mode selector contacts for wear or corrosion. The control board relays (Relay 1 and Relay 3) and the safety thermostat or thermal overload should also be tested if the simpler checks do not reveal the cause.
