GE Range Error Code ERR
Error displayed along with 'TURN SURFACE BURNERS OFF' when self-clean cycle is set with surface burners still on.
What the ERR error code actually means
Your GE range is letting you know that you tried to start the self-cleaning oven cycle while one or more of the stovetop burners were still turned on. The range will not allow self-cleaning to begin until all surface burners are completely off. Simply turn off every burner and start the self-clean cycle again.
