The washer includes this safety feature to prevent the drum from spinning with an open lid. Resolving the code requires identifying which of these conditions applies to your machine.

It is not advisable to bypass or ignore the LID code. The lid switch is a safety circuit designed to stop the washer from spinning or agitating with the lid open, which could cause injury.
