Dispenser electrical problem

Dispenser electrical problem — loose connection in Dispenser Circuit and/or open dispenser solenoid, open fuse on control to dispenser, or faulty dispenser drive circuit on control.

First step from the service manual

Unplug dishwasher or disconnect power and check resistances of dispenser solenoid and all connections in the dispenser circuit. Fix/replace open connection/part. Refer to Fuse Check on Page 1.

Dispenser electrical problem — loose connection

From Tech Sheet W16260946, p.38:

1.Unplug dishwasher or disconnect power and check resistances of dispenser solenoid and all connections in the dispenser circuit. Fix/replace open connection/part. Refer to Fuse Check on Page 1.

2.Measure line voltage at the power cord terminal block. Expected: 120 VAC (L1 to neutral) or 208 to 240 VAC between L1 and L2 under load.

3.Inspect the cord strain relief and terminal block screws for signs of arcing or heat discoloration. Loose connections here mimic an intermittent power failure to the control board.
