This means the dryer will lack its fire suppression capability until the water supply issue is corrected. It is advisable to resolve the fault before continued use.

If the fix involves only opening a closed shutoff valve or straightening a kinked hose, there is no parts cost. If the pressure switch needs replacement, parts typically range from $20 to $60 depending on the specific model, with additional labor costs if a technician is hired.
