This can be caused by a failed lock motor, a faulty position switch, wiring issues, or a mechanical obstruction in the lock assembly.

Standard baking and cooking functions may still operate depending on how the control system responds to the fault, but running another self-clean cycle is not advisable until the lock fault is resolved. A door lock that does not function correctly is a safety concern specific to the pyrolytic cleaning mode, which reaches very high temperatures. Have the fault inspected before attempting another self-clean cycle.
