Because F7 is tied to the factory self-test routine rather than any active refrigeration system, compressor, sensor, or control board fault, it carries no real diagnostic weight in the field. The code surfaces most commonly when a unit is first powered on after delivery or after a prolonged period without power, situations where the internal environment does not match the factory baseline.
