The 3C2 code on a Samsung dishwasher indicates a circulation pump error, sharing the same diagnostic conditions as the base 3C fault. It means the control system has detected that the circulation pump is not operating correctly. The issue may involve the pump itself, the Inverter PBA, or the Main PBA. A foreign object jamming the pump impeller is the most common and easiest cause to rule out first.

It is not recommended to continue running the dishwasher while the 3C2 error is active. The circulation pump is not functioning as expected, which means the dishwasher will not clean dishes effectively and could potentially cause further damage to the pump motor or control boards if cycles are forced. Diagnose and resolve the fault before resuming normal use.

A reset may temporarily clear the 3C2 error code, but it will return if the underlying problem has not been resolved. To reset, power the dishwasher off at the circuit breaker for a few minutes, then restore power.
