A reset may temporarily clear the E0131 code, but the error will return if the underlying cause is not corrected. If the supply voltage is out of specification or if a component such as the Left ADB is faulty, the code will reappear as soon as the cooktop attempts to operate. A reset is only a useful step for ruling out a temporary voltage fluctuation.
