Door lock error

Door lock error — washer makes several attempts to lock the door; if entire procedure happens twice without successful door lock, F22 appears. Also dryer exhaust thermistor open error (dryer display: temperature drops below 18°F / >50 kΩ for 1 minute).

Door lock error — washer makes several attempts

From Tech Sheet W17978396, p.48:

1.Clear error code, unplug washer or disconnect power, ensure latch is secured to front panel, check for misaligned/broken door hook.

2.Disconnect the sensor and measure resistance at the sensor body. Expected: 10 kΩ to 12 kΩ at 77°F (25°C).

3.Check the sensor harness for opens and shorts. Back-probe the sensor pins at the control board connector; a reading outside 5 kΩ to 50 kΩ indicates a failed sensor.
