LoFL means the washer did not detect water entering the tub within 12 minutes of starting a fill cycle. The control board stores this fault internally as F8E1. When the error triggers, the machine automatically runs an 8-minute drain cycle before displaying the code. It points to a problem with water supply, inlet hoses, drain hose installation, the water inlet valve, or the water level sensor.

Resetting the washer by unplugging it for a few minutes may temporarily clear the display, but the code will return on the next wash cycle if the underlying cause has not been corrected. The fault is stored in the control board as F8E1 and will reappear whenever the fill cycle fails to reach the water level sensor trip point within 12 minutes. Address the root cause before running another load.

If the fix is simply adjusting the drain hose position or opening a supply valve, the repair costs nothing. Replacing a clogged or failed water inlet valve typically runs between $60 and $150 in parts, plus labor if a technician is involved. A water level pressure sensor replacement is generally in a similar range.
