SPI COM ERR means the display head on your Wolf oven has lost Serial Peripheral Interface communication with the main control board. The display head uses the SPI bus to exchange data with the main controller, and when that link is broken or unavailable, this error is reported. It typically points to a problem with the flex ribbon cable connecting the two components, though it can also indicate a board-level failure on either side.

You should not attempt to operate the oven while this error is active. Because the display head cannot communicate with the main control board, the oven's controls and safety monitoring functions may not operate correctly. Using the appliance in this condition creates an unpredictable and potentially unsafe situation, and it should remain off until the fault is diagnosed and resolved.
