Blower motor fault

Blower motor fault — motor will not come up to speed within 30 seconds of being commanded to run, or motor has been slowed below 250 rpm for more than 10 seconds after coming up to speed.

From Service Manual 761147, p.39:

1.Check that the blower wheel is not rubbing the housing; check motor shaft is not seized; check motor windings per ECM Motor Troubleshooting section.

2.Inspect the exhaust duct from the unit to the wall cap. A crushed or lint-blocked duct is the most common cause of airflow-related faults.

3.Measure static pressure at the blower housing with the lint screen removed. Expected: ≥ 1.0 in. w.c. in a still-air test.
